    @czman

    When you said clean up, what did you mean?
    Was the mesh too dense?

    @Sirlockinbottom
    By clean up I mean reducing the amount of triangle geometry.
    Doing so improves overall performance in blender and will allow me to work on the model easier with fewer unnecessary edges.
    The model itself doesn't lose any of it's detail in the process. It's mostly about being able to make the necessary adjustments so it can be ported over to VRC with the least amount of problems I can avoid.
    I can elaborate further if you want me to.

      Yes please.

      From this i would assume you had to delete some vertices and restructure again right?

      Being a triangle into square mesh if you had to reduce?

        no vert deletion required thankfully.
        only dissolve edge to make two triangles into one square.
        blender has a built in system to help automate the process, but it's far from perfect.
        a large portion of time is dedicated to rotating the incorrectly dissolved edges into the correct ones.
        Think of it as drawing a bunch of diagonal lines in a sheet of grid paper.
        That's the state the model was in with the raw imported mesh.
        Then erasing part of the horizontal lines. A grid still exists, but it's not flowing the right way.
        That's what the automated system does in some areas.
        I then had to manually rotate each incorrect edge to line back up properly on the grid so the edge loops make sense and don't end up spiraling around half of the model.
        I hope that clears some of it up.
        If not, I can put together a brief visual example tomorrow sometime.

          It's awesome to see someone pick this up again, just for clarity will you also be providing the .blend file too once all the prep work is done for conversion to vrchat?

                  Curious, what expression blendshapes do you plan on / have made? @czman

                  If I'm bumping one of your posts, it's something I'm hoping to get a .unitypackage of. <3

                  Please do not reply to me saying "It's been found" if the link doesn't include a .unitypackage!

                    @Titania
                    I fully intend on dropping a blend file as well. Haven't decided if I should have it set up with IK constraints as I know some people like to set up their own.

                    @akkothefish Thank you. I was hoping someone would be willing to help out. Kinda flying half blind when it comes to what is and isn't supported with the porting process.

                    @crystalwaters34
                    As of now the only expressions I have planned are just the ones needed so it functions in VRC.
                    But if you or anyone else has a suggestion, I'll highly consider adding them in since I haven't gotten to that step yet.
