They can either have emissions, have lighting disabled in the shader settings, not be connected to the chest as anchor override, have min brightness set as high in shader settings, have an animation that changes shader settings.
yah in the unity scene go to window? if i remember correctly then go to package manager yr gonna find FBX export or u can search it install package and yr done as long as its a model asset yr able to do whatever

its the only way to export .asset to fbx, but i think it breaks the UV and the topology of the model..
@jaxoy I can only get PCSS to work if I disable VRCFURY and NDM/Modular Avatar on Import. Which means I can't use either when constructing my avatar..which I never do nowadays XD PCSS is buggy with VRCFURY/MA for me. If you have the issue I have where it works on scene but doesn't in play mode nor in VRChat then that is probably the culprit.
