How to set up PCSS?
-
Sorry that I'm not an English speaker, so my explanation might be hard to understand. I had that exact same symptom a while ago, and found out that it was caused by compatibility error with some tools you pre uploaded through VCC. what I was having compatibility error was "Hai~ Combo gesture expressions" and other Hai~ series tools. I recommand you to try removing some tools that you do not need right now. Also after importing PCSS unity package in to your scene, if you move the location of the nHaruka folder, it emmits error when setting up PCSS on to your avatar, so just leave it as where it is as you imported. I hope it helped out your problem, if it did not I'm so sorry. Also I want to thank you for sharing all the good stuff you uploaded. Sorry for the messy English. I hope you fix your problem, good luck.

I'll attempt to make the setup as easy as possible in five steps for anyone who is having issues installing PCSS:
What you require:
-
The most recent or comparatively more recent iteration of Poiyomi/Poiyomi Toon or Liltoon
-
The most recent or comparatively more recent version of PCSS
SETUP:
Step 1 : Import the main shader (such as Liltoon or Poiyomi) that you want to utilize with PCSS.Step 2: Import your PCSS.
Step 3: Select "PCSS for VRC" from the "nHaruka" tab at the top where "File, edit, SDK," etc., are located.
Step 4: Drag your avatar from the Hierarchy into the top box. Once you get to the check box after dragging your avatar, If your avatar has WriteDefaults, keep it checked; if not, uncheck it.
Step 5: Press the large button at the bottom to then select the setup button.
ta-da you now have PCSS
hope you find this helpful

see i did that, but ingame it does nothing
-
@HarleyQuinnVR Interesting, I know this might be obvious but, have you tried removing PCSS and reimporting it?
-
yep, this even was a fresh project
-
@HarleyQuinnVR When ingame, do you get the PCSS menu in your expressions?
-
@picturesque that i get yes, but nothing in there does anything

@HarleyQuinnVR What you can try if you haven't yet is clearing the shader cache in the PCSS tool; So instead of pressing setup, select the third option "Clear Shader Cache" you shouldn't need to re setup
