Generic model locomotion

Anyone on here familiar with creature avatars from someone on vrchat called AncientCreature? I have no intentions of ripping or anything else of the sort but I want to know how their avatars don't freak out like crazy when walking on uneven terrain. I want to be able to apply basically the same sort of thing to my own generic models so if anyone has any ideas on how it was done, that would be great. And here's an example of one of their avatars so people can see what I mean https://vrchat.com/home/avatar/avtr_1b54aa4e-a6eb-4e35-9364-40f2c89aba08

Seems like it is might be an model and animations ripped from one of the Jurassic World games. So most likely custom walk animations made specifically for the model
