How can you have a lot of prefabs on a avi without having to max out the parameters and contacts?

Ive seen a whole bunch of avis with a whole bunch of prefabs and objects that you can toggle and im confused on how they got so many prefabs onto one avatar without maxing out the parameter limit even same with the contact limit im confused on that too if anyone can help this would help me a lot ;-;
