I considered packaging it as a .crx, but it got pretty glitchy on my end. As far as I know there’s no proper "Add" button, you have to drag & drop it, and it didn’t always work reliably. You still need Developer Mode enabled anyway, so I figured sharing the unpacked version is simpler and more convenient.
