    Whenever I enter play mode it just resets everything and its actually starting to frustrate me.

      i havent really had these issues so this is just me guesstimating things

      more than likely its the default settings to the animation param(s) ; for things like toggles having settings. so you would need to look into the default animation keys for it, most things with costume changes will have body shapekey deforms involved for the clothing to body issue.
      look into the toggles animations and/or menu to adjust them

      im not 100% sure about the hair but id say make sure its only on the head bone and not animated any (none selected in the animator controller basically) and has no gravity involved to its whole skeleton/head bone specific
