Hello y'all. Earlier I got a DMCA email from VRChat, and I'm curious how the system works? I couldn't find a whole lot of info about it online. It was in regards to an avatar that I actually purchased a while ago, so I'm uncertain why I'm getting a DMCA strike. I would remove the avatar off my account, but it's currently suspended for the next few days due to someone reporting one of my uploads I would assume. Would anything happen if I just let it be since they already removed it off my account? I don't mind the loss since I'm just tired of dealing with the overcomplicated VRC bs.

@VictorVincent If your upload was private, it shouldn't have even mattered. I've also had ALL of my avatars deleted before because I had public NSFW ones. If it was private, I'm unsure why they even took it down. Someone had to have directly reported you. If they have already removed it off your account, and you're only suspended, you're probably good. You are at further risk of getting suspended longer or perma. TO MY KNOWLEDGE, if it's a repeating offense, the suspensions remain the same time. So about a week. But, it would make sense if they made it longer at some point. I've only been banned once, so I'm not totally sure. Hopefully someone else can educate us!
