how to add custom bought face expressions to booth avatars?

I can't find anything on this and I keep raging trying to figure out how to replace face expressions in unity. I have a unity package of animation clips for the avatars facial expressions but I don't understand how to actually get them to work with the avatar ;-;
Someone please help -
go to your fx animator and look for right hand and left hand gestures and replace them. peace, gun, thumbsup....
