when i try to test this avi with Gesture Manager, there are no toggles whatsoever, and after importing VRCFury and than entering play-mode, it breaks the project. what do i do?

Did you include your toggles in the Parameters within your model?
Is it using the correct FX layer?
I have no experience with VRCFury, I personally don't use it because I find it hard to use, so that part is out of my expertise. Sometimes when you don't include something in the paras it won't work.
Also, make sure the names match otherwise it won't work.
Example: In the FX layer, in the animator tab lets say you called an expression "Facelol" or something, but in the paras you called it "lolface". It won't register and think its a different thing. They need to be the EXACT same.
The menu names don't matter. Just those two.
Be sure everything is set up properly within the avatar as well.
Sometimes Unity can be buggy and just not work. (Sorry if this didn't help) -

No worries, as long as you found a solution to your problem, that's all that matters. ^^
