VRmodels unsafe & down?

Eugh yeah I've had some issues with VRModels staff as well ^^' A few years ago my boyfriend got some avatars off there, and coincidentally a virus popped up on his computer. He had only downloaded stuff from the site that day, so he said "hey I think there's something up with these files." And instead of "Yeah, we'll take a look." he basically got a "nuh uh, it's your own fault" AND THEY BANNED HIM! Like jeez, we're just trying to keep the community safe???

Got banned from commenting for pointing out the files for an older avatar were replaced with two random half built avatars in the unity package. Like as if somebody opened the unity package and started messing about with random projects, saved and uploaded that as the original.

anyone know any sites that were like vrm... i loved finding avis there, it was easy and i found new creators while looking around. every other one ive seen is just booth bullshit or random things. and ngl, looking through ripperstore is tedious and its all mostly furry or booth things on here too.
@villianrae VR models worked if you wanted something that wasn't too specific, this site is better if you want something specific like a certain blender model or avatar
The closest thing to VRM rn is pawchive, just type on the search bar "VR model" or "VRC" and then you start checking for a model that you like

@pikachuu if you find something really bad on kemono/pawchive the best thing you can do is to flag the post or if you want to go a step further report the patreon of the person that originally made the thing, at first i thought you were talking about just weird stuff tbh

@pikachuu no XD not mean am just expressing what vrmodel.store is not that you do it. vrmodels you see post of avatars example you see a vore avatar or Hyper and so on. when you click on those post omg you see 40+ comments of people bashing it eventually the vrm team has to disable the comment. is my only issue with vrm comunity. when you said "They post gross stuff" i tought you were refering to soemthing you dont like but dint know you ment kemono or other things XD sorry for the misunderstanding. i just wish vrm was slightly more chill. cuz honestly ive seen aloot of post here and havent seen that much toxiticy on the things shared here compared to vrm.

@randourchin yeah, now it's called pawchive and it actually gets some new content daily
@janesunglasses Uh it did not get rebranded, pawchive is a new system/website....that only has 18+ material content. It doesn't have any Vrchat items like worlds or heads Kemono is dead...other reiterations are only going towards 18+ asmr, material, and content aka gooner-central.

With the current state of affairs, I only really feel bad because of how convenient it was to grab stuff from there, because aside from that, some of the comment sections on certain downloads were just bad. Enough to genuinely piss me off a bit, especially when it was on stuff I uploaded...
Just not worth dealing with a community that rude, y'know?

@janesunglasses Pawchive is not meant to be anything other than an archive for fansly, subscribestar, and onlyfans. You aren't gonna find just vrchat assets and models on there. You will find some vrchat stuff though just not what WE are all here for.
