What happened to Cats Blender Plugin and Team NeoNeko?

Post is pretty much the title.
I had seen that they had archived their github page a while ago with mentions of their fork named "Avatar Toolkit", but now that's been abandoned too and their discord and websites are gone.
"No longer maintained, neoneko has ceased all operations."
