@Monkeykisser In case you or others still need help regarding this.

I like to add clothing to my personal Manuka Booth model. I'll try to be thorough on how I do it. This is the easiest way to do it in my opinion and I hope this helps you and others.

I do all my clothing toggles through VRC Toggles.

      1. Create an empty game object

      2. Drag the empty game object onto your model and rename it to Outfit Toggles

      3. Select it and add VRC Toggle as a new component.

      4. Select + then select Object Toggle

      5. Select Turn On or Turn Off depending on if the clothing is on by default or if you want to turn it on

      6. For menu you are going to want to name this where you want the toggle stored on in your expression menu in game. Common ones many avatar creators do for this:
        Clothing/Tops/InsertShirtName

      7. Select Options after you are finished and select Saved Between Worlds. Make sure you do this for every toggle.

      8. Important step! If your clothing has blendshapes you changed or you need to alter blendshapes on the body of your model so the clothes fit correctly make sure you select + then select Blendshape and search for each blendshape you changed on both the clothing and/or the body of the model and type in the number value you have it changed to. This will make it so clipping doesn't happen. Shrink blendshapes on the body make this easier for clothing to fit properly as well.

Personally I just like to keep it on the front page of my expression menu so I do:
      OutfitName/Top ON or OFF

How I set up my menus:
      Example: Maid/Top | Maid/Panties | Maid/Tights | etc.
If I have the outfit as my default clothing for a model I name the toggles with OFF at the end to help me.

Note: If you want to say enable the entire outfit you can just drag the whole outfit into the box. If you wanna put on/take off each individual piece of clothing you will have to keep adding multiple VRC Toggles for each of them and drag each piece of the clothing in the hierarchy into the box and add their own menu paths.

(It's the same process if you want to change the color with a color swap toggle you would just select Material Swap under options instead of Object Toggle and name the empty game object Material Toggles)

So yes this will still allow your clothing to be pulled as long as the clothing you are adding isn't broken. I was able to do this with Manuka school girl outfit which has the clothing pulling gimmick.

Another tip when adding clothes to model: Since you are using booth stuff. Make sure you have Modular Avatar in your project. If you have issues with clothing not fitting properly once you dragged the clothing prefab onto your avatar, right click the outfit and select Modular Avatar and then Outfit Setup. The clothes should be set up now.

Smells like roses, tastes like strawberries

      Keeping it wholesome and helpful
