Blocked for “reuploading models” – can people figure out that I hotswapped avis?

Someone blocked me pretty quickly after just standing near me for like a minute. They told me I that I "reuploaded models." I think what they meant was hotswapping.
Is there actually a way someone can tell just by looking at you for a minute or so?
Could my account get banned for it?

Yes, you can get banned for that lol. That's actually one of the easiest ways to get banned on vrc aside from trolling, or harassment. Can people notice a ripped or hotswapped model? likely so.

Depending on the package the user might've known something about the model that led them to believe it was pirated/ripped especially if it was a model that doesnt have alot of sales or if they're friends/know the models creator
