Can anyone help/tell me if i can combine hair strands for less physbones and transforms

as the title suggests, i have a avi that each strand of hair has a seperate physbone... i hate when this happens because its impossible to convert to quest without it being stiff. is there anyway to combine physbones like hair strands from a avi so i can have it as maybe one or two physbones not like 10 ? that would also reduce the transforms since its 64 for quest , wth vrchat.
