Whats the best way to convert a VRCA into a usable unitypackage as well as how to repair it

is there a video or can someone make a video if they have time of how use a VRCA and how to repair it into a usable avi im aware of the SARS video but i believe the video is lacking in a lot for avatar with more complicated things on it.
is there maybe a forum of someone explain the process or is this a dead end
