Remove downvoting?

Can we please put an end to the arguments? Let's return to sharing avatars and being friendly instead of enemies. The downvoting is staying. @PrIsMaTiSm, you have the chance to change, much like how the Godfather did. I am willing to reset your reputation to 0 as long as you cease the arguments. If you continue to receive downvotes due to the arguments after I take this step, I won't provide any further opportunities. Additionally, if I come across any unfair downvotes, I will send dms to those individuals.

Don't ask me to reupload something if I look at your profile and you contributed nothing to the site. Nothing includes items that you got from someone else are are just using to leech more paid items.

It would however be interesting to see what would qualify as an unfair downvote, because I know this will ultimately continue, although I will not be the one making the arguments.Resetting rep to 0 just to have it go negative as soon as even one person downvotes me, once again removing my ability to do many things on this site, doesn't seem very effective.
@PrIsMaTiSm I will determine what qualifies as an unfair downvote. And of course your reputation will become negative as soon as someone downvotes you. That's why you should aim to receive upvotes rather than downvotes.

it’s already been changed to needing a certain reputation to downvote, what more do these people need? if anything removing the rep system at all to stop ANY drama sounds better but i don’t really care. I couldn’t care less if it stayed or goes

down voting sounds like a good solution but sounds like it would just end up like removing disliking from YouTube,
it's an outlet for somebody's negativity and if they cand express their annoyance with a little downvote then they are just going to go straight to the comments, by removing negative feedback it increases people being even more annoyed that they can display that negativity with a little button,making it for users who are more frequently on the site sounds like the better option

To avoid proliferation, a membership system can be implemented like other websites, where non members can only download public models and have a certain daily download limit.
2. Many Avatars are downloaded by players from different countries, and if they are from different countries, their social circles are different, which does not hinder the interests of the authors.
3. To avoid author complaints, an online application channel can be developed to prove that you are the author through pictures. Then the author's model will never be uploaded again. -

i dont think it needs to be removed BUTT i do like the idea of 1 downvote perday, downvoting ppl like creators who are genuinely harassing others (or people harrasing others in general) and getting them flagged is a GREAT plus, i understand why others wouldnt like it, but there are alot of pros to it !!

In my opinion, the system currently works quite well and doesn't require any intervention.
But if we're going to discuss something like this, we need to be consistent: if we remove the downvotes, we also remove the upvotes. The limits should also be the same for both.

In my Opinion I think it should not be possible to downvote in a certain rank. Like you can't downvote until let's say asset seeker or something.
Would be better than removing it, because the only Problem I see with it is that people who should not downvote or are TOO New to the forums are mostly toxic downvoting because they have issues.I also see mostly already flagged Idiots and newcomers act like douches.
