Looking for Resources on Avatar Creation

I'm quite new (5 days in) and have a general grasp on how to put something together, but there are very specific issues that tend to show up (like figuring out why my default breast slider randomly stopped working). Is there a piece of media or wall of text I can go through to remedy most of these issues?
Maybe you can recommend me some methods on how to troubleshoot going forward as well.

My breast sliders aren't working and the Ear on the avatar moves to compensate for a hat on the base that doesn't exist.
The breast slider plus also gets adjusted when testing the avatar in gesture manager's play mode and I can't seem to track down the source.
I also ran into an issue where my limbs just vanish when I toggle clothing despite altering and even removing the respective modular avatar's object toggle. I just chalked this one up to being a bug considering it reappears when I reopen the project.
I just ended up starting from scratch on a new project but the old one is still there if I ever need to go back to it.
The base is Ichigo if that's helpful in any way. -

You may have make some changes to the base outfit since I removed the pants and didn't realize it was irreversible
