      you need to allow access to the google drive btw

      and i don't really know how you're trying to attach the tail and the spikes specifically, so it's hard to help, i imagine the fbx files alone wouldn't help a lot more to figure out - having a unitypackage would probably help the most

        are the weight paint/bone names the same on both the spikes and tail?

          thank you guys!! I found out that the issue was actually that the bones in the fbx didnt have the uh... animation? in unity, sorry not sure the exact term! It involves adding a physbone to the tail bone and it kinda flows down the tail on its own haha; I managed to copy the script from the vrcfury prefab version of the tail and then paste it onto my model, and it worked somehow
