How can I make my avatar uncreepy?

So I am currently starting to make my personal avi and my issue is when I marge the head with the body with the CATS plugin, my avatar just turns very horrifying and I do not know what I did wrong, is there anyone that can help?

Firstly I would make sure everything your using is up to date for the most part secondly make sure you apply all transforms , rotations/scale too
If you dont know how (select all by pressing a. Then simply press CTRL + A and click all transforms etc)
That could be your issue if not I would also make sure when you did edit the base/head that it was done on the base shapekey ( shapekeys are where i have shown in the image)
