So for the outfit I want to make, I need a coat, and this is the best quality one I can find. However it obvious is not fit for Manuka.
If someone could do so, or instruct me on possible means to get that done. It would be appreciated.
To be obvious on what outfit I am looking to make....
"Why so serious?"
C : so yeah. Needs to be able to accommodate the layering of that outfit.

@Excaligator , You'll need Blender for this
I know that's not super instructional, but if you're new to Blender or have no experience with it, it might be tough to explain. I'd recommend checking out some YouTube tutorials. Sure, you can resize and adjust the jacket in Unity, but in Blender, you'll need to resculpt, weight paint, or do a weight transfer! I also have a great free tool if you ever decide to give Blender a try lol. Someone could do it for you, but you would need to provide them with the FBX! -

@strawberrypup Oo what tool do you have for blender? I definitely need it in the future when I'm fitting clothing onto a diff base

Does anyone know if the lower part of the coat (like waist down) has been weightpainted straight up, or is it weight painted with Physbones?
(Sorry if the question makes no sense. I am a complete blender noob and am currently trying to make sense of it).

@Excaligator You will need to delete the previous armature and weight paint from your FBX's armature. Use the data transfer tool, and you shouldn't have an issue. No one can know what your weight paint looks like without a visual, but as I mentioned, you'll need to redo everything. This includes re-sculpting to fit your base or creating blendshapes for layering clothes, checking for clipping issues between layers or movements, and ensuring the clothing is properly parented to the base armature. You'll also need to select the asset, go to modifiers, and replace the old armature that was fitted for the old base with your new base armature.

@strawberrypup do you perchance have reference videos to demonstrate what yog are talking about? I have no way to visualize what you are talking about which leaves me confused.

@Excaligator I'm sorry, I don't have any tutorials for you, but you can try Pup's Blender School for tutorials and more. I've personally used a lot of tutorials from her, and her Discord server is great for help. She also has a forum where you can post about any issues you're having!
