General Questions

For the time being, most of us can't rip avatars due to the recent avatar encryption VrChat has done. I've heard that some people have methods to bypass this encryption but I'm not sure how reliable the sources are. So unfortunately, unless one of the bypassers happen to see this, you're out of luck.

@BrownieBatter48 try this thing then https://vrmodels.store/other/scripts/479-unity-fbxexporter.html its the only way to export .asset to fbx, but i think it breaks the UV and the topology of the model..

what hair asset is this and whats the textures?

@jaxoy I can only get PCSS to work if I disable VRCFURY and NDM/Modular Avatar on Import. Which means I can't use either when constructing my avatar..which I never do nowadays XD PCSS is buggy with VRCFURY/MA for me. If you have the issue I have where it works on scene but doesn't in play mode nor in VRChat then that is probably the culprit.
