"Any ripped avi is no longer able to be uploaded cause it doesn't have the ID that is provided when you purchase the avi"
"So apparently creators were annoyed that their avis were constantly getting ripped and being used and getting vrc to contact them to take it down or privatize them. To combat this from happening less, VRC CC and unity both updated to have it to where you'll need the provided BP ID to be added onto any uploaded avatars to prove you have purchased the avatar and can do as you please with it"
my friend showed me this forwarded messages.

Pretty sure they are talking about this, can't be on a SDK lower than 3.9.0 when uploading a new avatar for their security reasons, they done this multiple times when they stop supporting older versions of sdks https://ask.vrchat.com/t/developer-update-14-august-2025/46303#p-83884-avatar-id-generation-5
