@Alucard0117 Funny how you are throwing Shade at us, but I find it odd that you claim "Rippers were harrassing the Owner for it", when this is the first time we are hearing of this.
A lot of people on this site follow a rule, and that is "Do NOT harrass other people for their AVIs, not matter how much you dislike them".
Such antics of harrassing AVI owners for their AVIs, are bannable offenses here, even with the whole "Looking for items/AVIs". Also, Silver stated in the same Tweet that it was mainly from BACKLASH AND HATRED, meaning someone out there On VRCHAT was harrassing Silver2299 for having a Sexy looking AVI.
And before you have a go, there are a LOT of such people on VRChat who do that. They throw slurs around, even claiming that "You are Gay/a Faggot" despite not knowing the person at all and just trying to harrass them off the server, simply because the player was using an avatar that is a stylized female, while ignoring more obviously sexualized avatars on the server.
I got sneered at for using a Toy Frenni Avatar, which by the way, does not have a NSFW option. The guy who jeered at me was using a Fighting Stick Red Avatar from Animation vs Minecraft, and tried to harrass me off the server. I think the guy ended up leaving after a while, but that prat soured my playthrough of Prison Escape.
By the way, these people hardly ever get reported. If you care so much about Silver2299, do them a solid and start making it your mission to report such people who harrass other players off servers because of their avatar choice? (Provided said avatars do not violate server rules, for obvious reasons)

The likes of Alucard and Asgore are quick to blame the Rippers, when Silver2299 flat out tells us that the ACTUAL reason was because other people harassed Silver2299 online for having a sexy Stylized Mesa Avatar.
Such people DO exist on VRchat, by the way, and most of them are not reported. Asgore and Alucard are quick to blame rippers, but brazenly ignore what the WHOLE Tweet even said.

So, in.. extreme summary, Silver said he was gonna make Mesa public, but now isn't? Because two fence sitters started defending Silver after he received boat-loads of backlash for having a commission private..
To clarify, yes it's his commission and he gets all rights on what he wants to do with it, obviously. But just for the fact it's stylized shouldn't mean that he gets all rights to Mesa the character. She should to a degree be public, as she is not Silver's own personal character in any way shape or form, she's only stylized and was done as a paid commission. I personally find Silver as a weird individual for this and think of him as greedy/selfish.

then a 3d model that spacetato made
which is then bought its rights by sliverat this point you might aswell just ask digital extremes (devs of warframe) for this mesa

@TheShepard Eh, to be honest, I much prefer Valkyr, Wisp and the Wolf frame anyway, so no real loss for me.
They are THREE of the better stylized frames out there, and Mesa kind of looked a bit dull to me.

@Silence-056 Yeah, spacetato's prices are no joke and there's comes two problems if I were to comm him. 1, Gotta wait for Digital Extremes to announce a heirloom skin for mesa and wait for primebooba to draw her in they're style and 2, I don't wanna go through what silver just went through with they're mesa prime and it being private.

I'd just asked spacetato just add something exclusive to me only on mesa -
Fair enough that Silver can have his commissioned Mesa to himself, but can we at least get a version of Mesa to the public? Even if it's just her default appearance (non-prime) since, Tato technically did that with Wisp, except she had the Gaoth helmet instead of her default one. I wouldn't mind if we just got a default, stylized Mesa instead of Silver's Prime Mesa..
Which, is still a bit confusing. I don't see how stylizing makes a character any different to who they actually are.. That'd be the same as me taking someone's OC, changing some details and then claiming it as mine but not changing the name.

@snatch_6 Pretty sure you're not gathering the obvious fact that, Silver commissioned an original pre-existing character to be remade in an NSFW manner, and paid for it. Which is, as I said, an equivalent of taking someone's OC, remaking it how you like and then slapping your name on it.
In summary, we believe it's not really fair to have something this great, being locked behind someone's account. Idk, say you found an avatar you really liked one day, wanted to have it to yourself, just to realize someone else has the rights to it despite it being a character from (insert cool game here) with just a few minor changes. Would that not feel a little stupid to you?

@lollermsparko while yes, thats true, primebooba would have said something by now taking into account how popular these models are, so i suppose spacetato either made a deal or primebooba directly doesnt care
As for the second part, i DO see where youre coming from, however, isnt that kind of the point with most of these models?
By that i mean while the main objective is to obviusly look good (or in this case look thicc as hell) , isnt the point of being truly yours and that no one else has something similar the appeal aswell?
For example, i made an enderwoman model from the ground up not too long ago, even though it could definetly look better, im happy with how it came out and it would feel a lot less especial if everyone else had a copy, now would it?
