Need Help Ripping an Avatar ( I Have Permission )

Hi all, I have an avatar already in use on my account that I pulled from a public world. However, this avatar seems to be old and doesn't have Gogo. I reached out to the creator of the avatar on Discord and asked for their permission to use said avatar privately, but they told me that they had lost the files as they made it so long ago, and was thus unable to recreate it for me because it was years ago and they likely forgot how.
Later, they found an old file of it, but it was prior to the physics, lipsyncing, etc being added. I've tried for a few hours to get Physbones working just as a start, but cannot figure this out. I'd rather just rip the avatar that I'm using in VRchat to be able to export into unity and add Gogo to it.
Like I said, I already have access to the avatar in VRC, but I want it as a packaged file to make edits in Unity. Any help appreciated!

Bump. Still finding a way to rip a public avatar. I also have a public avatar I want to rip. It's discontinued and 404-ed on booth long ago. I believe this is the only way to preserve it.
