Ripping help/Missing files
-
I got the file through appdata and managed to get Ripper installed, also did some testing and managed to upload a file i found online
However the appdata one i got from myself is missing some of the main stuff the others had.
It contains EditorSettings, Font, Mesh, Shader and Texture 2D. Nothing like prefabs or anything else i can work with. Im using the one from Github, version 1.2.1
I also tried an older version but there the file just cant even be accessed
Anyone able to help here please? -

Anyone able to help here please?@Nova1337 If you ripped this VRCA through cache, then the file was encrypted and is unusable. VRChat has started encrypting their files over the past month to prevent ripping, which has thrown a significant wrench into ripping in general. There are methods to bypass this, but nothing public with a tutorial to follow. From what I’ve seen, the methods include either directly downloading from VRChat or modifying the client to prevent encryption of avatars. You can still rip old VRCAs, but new ones won’t work with the old tutorials.
