It's a minor annoyance, but it bothers me all the same

depends on how you position the prop by its size, shape, and position. i had a hard time with something like that before but it is pretty simple once you know how to do it. manually adding props with vrcfury was pretty simple, but getting it positioned on the avatar's hand is rather tricky depending on where it needs to be placed. knowing this topic is different than an avatar for vrchat, same wouldnt be said with how you make things in other platforms.

thats just my knowledge on how i do things, but im learning to know more on how to make things properly without screwing something up lmao

So what do we mean by this? Any further elaboration would be helpful. If something has part of a mesh that needs to be facing forward in-game, lay it flat and sideways in unity. Within your hand movements will determine which way it faces.

Still don't understand this question clearly, needs some elaboration.

@kh4m4ri Basically, I keep trying to line the prop up so that when I'm in VRChat it'll look natural, but I always end up a bit off, with it either partway through the fist or floating about half an inch away from the hand

@Volttekka It's honestly all trial and error. It's something you have to work with every time you come around this issue. If you're dissatisfied with the position in-game, you can always go back and adjust it. There's no real way of perfecting it.

Once you get used to it, you'll almost perfect it with little to no errors first try.
