Help with NPC Pet Tool

So I got the NPC Pet tool (found here https://booth.pm/en/items/3603642), and every time I tried to use it and upload it, it doesn't exactly work. I did it the same way it shows in the video, dragging two avatars that I want to use into the tool, but in game it doesn't work at all. Does anyone know a definite way of using the Pet Tool?
