Chocolat body is missing?
-

Hello peeps, I've had this problem with Chocolat so many times now that I gave up on working with her.
Every time I make contact receivers (and link them all in the fx yada yada yada) it seems that all animations just stop working because the body (head) is missing apparently? In the next image you can see I clicked on preview, the clothes do what normally happens, but Chocolat won't budge (The body has been removed with blendshapes to reduce clipping)

When in play mode all facial animations work though, I just can't change them anymore in the normal mode.
I have no idea what is happening or why this is happening, no other avatar I know has this (a.k.a. I do the same on for example Shinano or Milltina)
I would love if someone has a solution

Hello! Without knowing more about how your avatar is set up, I can just offer you general advice.
First of all, make sure that the Object with the Animator Component is the root Object for the Avatar (in this case, "Kitty Cat (1)"). If it is, try triple-clicking one of those yellow Blend Shape Animations and make sure that the only contents of the text field are "Body" without the quotation marks.
If that doesn't work, you may have something wrong with your Skinned Mesh Renderer Component in your Body. This could be the case if your Blend Shape names have changed, or maybe it's something wrong with your FBX/Mesh. The simplest solution would be to reimport only Chocolat's Prefabs and FBX and make sure everything else is unchecked, otherwise you may overwrite any changes you've made. If that doesn't fix it, drag the Prefab you want to use into the Scene and copy over everything from your other Avatar. Importantly: Do not Copy-Paste Skinned Mesh Renderer Components. If you want to copy any Blend Shape edits you have made, do it manually or find and use a tool to do it for you.
Hopefully that works. If it doesn't, I may need to know a bit more about how your avatar is set up to help you more.
