All rex avatars before the 1.7 with the new fur is quest compat, you just have optimize the textures with the build in texture compressor by clicking on the texture file. If there is too many pysbones that's due to you adding other things like hair or other clothing with them. Just figure out how to remove them or reduce the amount of bones in the hierarchy. Even the 1.7 one can be easily turned into one in 10-20 minutes. Don't be lazy
