I have been seeing increasing talk about using malicious packages to fight against asset sharing in many places.
With that in mind i would like to know and if people want to share here what can be done to protect yourself as much as possible.
I don't know much about it myself but i think it has become something that needs to be learned about.

The best way is to always inspect what you are importing.
Like, for any VRC asset that should only contain clothing for your avis, there will (likely) never be a C# script or shader be found in the import window.
Of course there may be other ways. As with any "free" download sites, bad actors will always be present to take advantage of people trusting the source without questioning
