This is kind of a lesson for everyone. The reason people got annoyed with this and why someone eventually acted out (whether it's rightful or not it's another thing); is because you charged an obscene amount for access.
Most servers that collect things on a donation basis, just let you get those access roles by donating a bunch of your own things, because that actually makes sense.
Where were the 40$ even going? Lining your pockets?
If anyone wants to make something like this, paying for access is shady as hell. Might as well resell the models illegally, same same. ️
