Need help transforming vrca file into a unity pack
-
So thanks to a person here I got like a femboy kroxigor but its only a vrca and I have 0 clue on how to make it a unity pack if someone helps ill honestly appreciate it very much
@Emikotek Are you talking about this avatar VRModels: Kroxigor?
Use this tool called Asset Ripper
Delete the scripts folder before clicking/dragging the prefab of the avatar it makes as it will crash otherwise don't ask me why but it does
Usually what I do once I convert that vrca into a bunch of folders that has all of the assets you need using assetripper I just find the assets that the vrca model has like clothing, fun stuff, etc and import the vrca folders/files and official unity pack of that avatar base plus other assets like clothes and move over all textures/shaders from your vrca avatar to the official avatar scene
I usally do this method because asset ripper decompiling the vrca filetype does not work as a avatar out of the box but it gives you everything you need to remake that avatar meshdata, textures, animations etc
If its a fbx edit to make it look like a femboy since the model on VRModels just looks like a female there are a few more steps to it but I can explain how to if need be
I am busy right at this moment so I haven't looked at the files yet but if I misunderstood anything you can go into more detail I would love to help out -

@teknoeee Alright here is a video just choose the vrca file you have as the file you want to extract from and if it is not encrypted due to vrchats recent cache encryption update then the extraction should work. Also it should work with or without the vrca extension so that shouldn't be a problem. Just import the extracted folders and files into your unity avatar project and delete the scripts folder so it does not crash.
