Bumping this, hoping anyone who happens to have bought anything sees this, because sogenmu recently tried to erase everything they've ever contributed to VRChat, including every public avatar and the store download pages for avatars people have spent real money on. It's bad enough to take away some public avatars for no reason, that just makes you a bad person, but removing hundreds of public avatars, deleting shop pages and then threatening to block anyone who tries to contact you about it? That's what makes someone a scourge on the community.
Edit: found what might be the only explanation available on the internet: https://forum.ripper.store/post/1659244, which explains that it was basically shut down as revenge, so while I felt slightly bad at first because their Twitter said mental health, it's clearly not that, and i feel no guilt hating this person now. If you try to take down a public avatar, you should have to write a detailed apology explaining why you need to take it down, why you have no other choice, and only if a majority of the active users of that avatar accept the apology should the avatar be actually deleted.
