Extract the VRCA using SARS

Open SARS.
-
If a “Select Unity Editor” window appears, just cancel it.

Go to the VRCA tab.
-
Import your VRCA file.
-
Uncheck Poiyomi shaders (VRCA versions are broken).

Click Extract and choose a folder for the output.

Set up your Unity project
-
Create a new Unity project using the correct VRChat version.
-
Import your usual essentials:• VRChat SDK
• Poiyomi or lilToon
• Any tools you normally use -
Import the extracted VRCA folder from SARS.

Import FACS Utilities.
-
Drag the avatar prefab from the extracted assets into the Scene.
-
Reassign materials using FACS

Open the FACS menu in Unity.
-
Go to Avatar Fix → Easy Shader Reassign.

Drag the Materials folder from the extracted assets into the slot.
-
Let FACS automatically reassign all materials.

Fix animations
-
Select the avatar prefab in the Hierarchy.

In the Inspector, find the FX Animator field.
-
Drag the correct FX controller from the extracted assets into the slot.
-
Click Auto Detect.
-
Click Fix to repair animation references.
-
Fix scripts
-
In FACS, open the Script Fixer section.
-
Drag the entire extracted Assets folder into the field.
-
Click Delete Dummy.
-
Click Fix to repair missing scripts and components.
- Remove broken normal maps (if the avatar looks weird)
VRCA extractions often produce corrupted normal maps that cause:
• Pink textures
• Shiny or bumpy skin
• Strange lightingTo fix it:
- Open the Texture2D folder.
- Select all normal maps (pink textures).
- Delete them.
- Unity will fall back to flat normals, fixing the shading.
- Reduce texture sizes (fix lag + crashes)
If the textures are too large (4K/8K), Unity may lag or freeze.

Select all textures inside the Texture2D folder.

In the Inspector:• Turn Compression ON
• Set Max Size to 2048 (2K) or 1024 (1K) -
Apply the changes.

this is the vrca of baby marciline but idk how to change to unity and fix it, if someone knows it will helps a lot but btw im going to try it to do it myself
