To fix the size/compression issue you need D4rk's Avatar Optimizer (use this link to add it to VCC https://github.com/d4rkc0d3r/d4rkAvatarOptimizer) AND an avatar compressor (copy and paste this link in your browser vcc://vpm/addRepo?url=https://vpm.limitex.dev/index.json)!
My VCC looks like this
Once in unity add D4rk's using "add component" and change nothing, then add the compressor and select high quality!
This worked for me just fine, avi looks great in game with little/no low quality textures :))
