unfortunately though since what you said i dont think anything could fix it then if milltina has a problem like that

@Nexxis actually i might be able to fix it, i just realized it's because of the alpha mask! i think if i edit it a bit it should be fine maybe.. i'll get back to you with progress
what's the problem within the image? i can't exactly tell

@ineviTabLe so when any action with bending forward it clips through the metal and the skin overlaps it with the way the chest moves against the spine, the same problem happens with the hips too, its almost like its not exaggerated enough

@Nexxis gotcha! ill see if I can fix it ^^

@Nexxis small update!
I tried using shape-keys and drivers with unity but drivers don't export to unity so I'm going to attempt to use bone constraints next ><
if it doesn't work I'm probably gonna ask for help on the blender/unity forums haha because I have no idea how else to fix it
im glad though, this gives me some motivation to learn how to use blender and unity more! ive only really dabbled in modeling so anything beyond that is pretty new to me haha
edit: good news! bone constraints did fix the problem! bad news, idk how to make it work in unity, because constraints also don't export out of blender

i'm going to see if I can link bone movements with unity's rotation constraints, and see if that works... won't be home for a couple hours though

@Nexxis i think i managed to fix the clipping issue! please try out this file for me and tell me if it works! i also added blendshapes to shrink the chest, spine, and waist, lemme know if i should change those or not cause it's my first time doing them ><

small issue but pretty sure im just really stupid; it doesnt seem to want to use the already made prefab, and im having to use the one from inside the FBX (which has its own issues (not having textures, mesh cut not working etc.)) and using the mesh from the fbx and putting it into the prefab that already exists doesnt do anything

@Nexxis nope, that was my fault! i forgot to replace the prefab so it was trying to pull objects that didn't exist
this SHOULD work now. i tested it on an empty unity file on an unmodified milltina. if it doesn't, lmk and i'll try to do some more fixing!
it does suck that Milpix's creations don't take FBT into consideration though, either they knew the problem and ignored it because they didn't want to bother, or they didn't know because they didn't really test things out... either way, it's a bit telling of their quality control, haha
also, after putting that much work into this i might as well just make a milltina avi for myself haha

@ineviTabLe lmfao yeah. ill give it a try 100%. i started working on a mayo cause of you so why not do the same? make a milltina!!

@ineviTabLe im gonna kiss you on the mouth

just a few issues but its near perfect!!

all thats left is the refinement on say, the shape, and then the gaps and whatnot but its amazing
@Nexxis would you mind telling me exactly what? i'll probably be able to fix it over the next few days ^^ (ik the shape is wonky lmao gotta mess with some more weight painting
)also i forgot about the legs (it seems like milpix did too because there aren't any thigh bones on the thing) so that's probably what i'm gonna work on next

@ineviTabLe theres a little gap between the midriff area and the metal but no worries if youre already gonna fix the shape
