@emotemanager you're probably doing better than i am, I'm struggling to just get the skeleton lined up to the mesh without breaking, it may be beyond my skills
@unaverageobj tbh i know very little, but the skeleton is in the right position, just select all the meshes and rotate them to the skeleton position, it should work like that

ah, I kinda remember this. One of the animation layers usually needs to have that cog wheel clicked and make sure the "Mask" area has something in it, usually lining up with what the layer controls. This image for example has the Right hand mask on the Right Hand layer.
