Update the VRC SDK in the Creator Companion, You can't upload VRChat stuff with the SDK being before 3.9.0
-
this has been happening with the last 4 avatars i have downloaded and tried to upload, how do i fix this?

@wackydoge Your projects were made on an older SDK. VRChat has made all SDKS before 3.9.0 invalid. Meaning, you cannot upload a new blueprint. However, if you created a new model on an old SDK, and you dont want to upgrade to the new SDK, add an existing blueprint ID and then upload that. You can still rename it to what you want, add an image, etc, then just upload. It wont always work, but it has worked for me once. To do this, go to the vrchat sdk menu in your project (where you go to upload), click on content manager,

Then find an avatar youre no longer using or just something you dont like anymore. Copy its ID. Once copied, click on your models name in the hierarchy, go to the inspector and find Pipeline manager.

Detach the preexsiting ID, paste the copied ID, and Attach that. Then you can upload.
