GIFT/need help lol; Ultrashark edit (NSFW)
-
I wanted to make a custom personal avi of ultra shark, but I can't seem to make a quest version small enough to be uploaded. Its totally okay if she's just straight up not able to be made for quest but I'd really, really appreciate it if someone could try. This is only the "quest" ver with no hair physbones, unity wouldn't let me export the pc version

hihi i've been messing around with it for a while but i think it would be easier if you got to choose what you'd like to keep. here are some tools that help me with avi optimization that i've added to my VCC
(~ ̄▽ ̄)~-
thry's avatar performance tools show you the size of meshes and textures on ur avi and will let you lower tex sizes
-
d4rkpl4y3r avatar optimizer has many optimization settings you can mess with like merging skinned meshes, optimizing FX layers, and deleting unused components
-
vrcquesttools i personally use the physbone remover a LOT as it helps locate those pb's with a million transforms, but ofc it will convert your avi to a version that uses quest shaders, remove vertex colors, etc.
-
vrcfury i use the blendshape optimizer a lot, especially on head meshes
avis with many clothing swaps and material swaps can make their size really big, so be very picky with what you put on quest avis, good luck !!

@haikujime do you know any tools that fixes avatar expression effect on quest (such as blushes, cry, & such)

@Dehaven You cant do transparency on VRChat mobile shaders (quest). Your best option would be editing the expression animations and removing the shapekeys for blush/cry/etc. The gesture animations are easily findable by visiting your FX layer in the animator tab and viewing the Layers. It will likely be in one of the top ones. Look for Left Hand, Right Hand, AllParts, or Expressions... Every creator names things differently, but it should be near the top. Find the trees that have the gesture names, click the animation to locate it in your file viewer, then click your avatar name in hierarchy, in the inspector tab for your avatar, there will be an Animator tab. Drag each expression animation on top of the word Animator. Locking the inspector window onto your avatars parent in hierarchy is very helpful here. Once you drag over all of the animations, they will be in a new controller. Double click one of the animations so the keyframe editor appears. Click your avatar name in hierarchy again, the animations that you just put into the new controller should show up in the animation editor. right click and delete the keys necessary. once you modify all of the animations, remove the controller from the Animator. Leave it blank.

@Dehaven invert the images of anything at uses an alpha to make transparent for pc once inverted it can be used for quest to fix lashes/blush

@Dehaven typically for blush textures, i'll go into a photo editing software like ibis paint and make it the shape i want (usually some kind of circle/oval), so it isn't a block on the face, then i usually use the vrchat/particles/additive shader to make it transparent (-v-*) things like lashes are pretty simple too, for black textures use vrchat/particles/multiply. if the texture just isn't working, i'll remove the texture and use the vrchat/particles/additive shader and it will keep the material invisible, i hope this helps !!
