Vrchat or similar social VR platforms may not last forever. It's very important to keep that into consideration when making an asset or model. Creating something that will last regardless of the platform is where you'll truly get your moneys worth and shows genuine care. Not unstable scripts that make it harder to edit and bricks it.
We preserve console games via emulators and still buy old Windows pc games. Digital preservation is more important as you're supposed to nurture it. We won't be able to share our experiences if everything breaks or become like a useless paperweight. Sure, it may not be possible to salvage very game or model.
Hypothetically, If a new social VR platforms comes out that replaces vrchat one day in a decades time. We all want to take our models and assets with us. Create as memories as you can and treasure the things you buy, trade and sell etc.

LF: ˗ˏˋ꒰ DIGI ꒱ ˎˊ˗ by StrawbunnyOkie dokie, let's see what I can do, so please be patient. It does not matter if you bother processing this in your mind. I've done my part by being a decent person, patching my end, and apologising even if you clearly do not deserve it. I haven't done something that horrific to justify the way you're treating me. I'm pretty certain most people would rather focus on the actual topic than you. At least, I am more than willing to try being friendly and diplomatic when people respond to what I say. I will always be open and try to respond. Even if I make a mistake or get frustrated with something
To be frank, it seems like you're taking a sentence too literally, and you're dissociating into a hysterical fit. It's not actually healthy or good for your wellbeing if you're struggling to do so. Maybe you need to take better care of yourself and go see a psychologist who can help you learn how to maintain your emotions and reduce stress. Hurting yourself over something realistically minor or trivial isn't good for you. Maybe you need to spend more time going outside and enjoying the fresh air for a week or so.
If you struggle with interpreting a sentence, Usually, some people who have neurodivergent conditions, such as autism, don't do well with sentences that could mean more than one thing or cannot read if there is a certain emotion in a sentence. If that is why, you're blowing something unnecessarily out of proportion.
Like, are you having a shitty week and don't realise you might be taking it out on utter strangers on the web? I'm trying to actually figure you out so I can do the bare minimum, being decent enough to help you understand what I'm trying to communicate, or if there is something wrong worrying your mind for you to act out badly?? I can keep re-paraphrasing it until it makes sense, but it's not my responsibility to teach you how to talk to people normally, how to debate with people, or how to understand what people are saying if you fail three times. Especially seeing as your behaviour clearly shows you aren't willing to listen when people are trying to be kind enough to help you resolve a misunderstanding.
You're processing what I say in your mind as an attack on you?? People might not trust you if they end up believing you're actually trying to disguise yourself as a spy and are likely a creator who does commit toxic behaviours.
If you feel personally offended and victimised about being called out for potentially being toxic, then maybe you need to actually get that checked out with a psychologist. The way you're presenting yourself roughly represents symptomatic narcissism. It doesn't matter if you were officially diagnosed or not, but it's possible to have rough symptomatic signs. For example, dysphoria is sometimes defined as a condition that is a preliminary stage of depression.
However, I never mentioned your name in my initial post. I don't recall Baldur Porta being a creator. Therefore, I have a hunch that you actually don't respect or understand what anyone says that conflicts with you. If you're dismissing what comes out, I can tell you're trying to silence whatever I say without rational thought. That is not a healthy and mature response.
Let's do this following activity slowly together so I can spell it out for you. For example, in your initial response, Oh, and before you pipe up, I'm cherry-picking. I'm not; I'm trying to make you look at your actions and at yourself in the mirror.
Let's look at a few lines you wrote:
"First, you don't know gonsodany to say anything about what kind of person they are; second, you never spoke to them or anyone close to them, or you would've seen that every time someone has questions or problems with any of the avatars, they offer support at the moment (as anyone on these creator's servers can confirm).
The problem with this is that you already have proven it (regardless if you have ever tried spending time alone without falling for common influencer tactics). You are not willing to take risks by travelling alone outside the influence of creators to see outside the box. You find traversing outside your own bubble too bothersome, intimidating, difficult, and not worth the effort. You don't even want to acknowledge news outside your own house not related to VRCchat or your favourite creators.
Furthermore, you're handicapping yourself by never internally questioning things. To learn about life, there is more to life; to genuinely improve your health; and to think autonomously for yourself. If you neglect your media literacy skills and never challenge yourself to improve your flaws, you are always striving to improve in order to advocate for yourself when you are alone.
I have to be firm and explicitly tell you that the only person who can truly save you is yourself. Your favourite creators, friends, family, and relationships are not the ones responsible for fixing you, and you're not responsible for fixing their problems. You need to quit being so dependent and teach yourself to feel content being alone so you can learn how to be with people. You won't be competent enough to ever be a healthy, positive, mature adult for long if you keep letting yourself down and being rude to anyone who doesn't think like you. The world isn't out to get you, especially.
I don't need to be friends or in a relationship with someone to figure out if someone is not healthy for me, which is a massive red flag. Mixing parasocial relationships and business together does not work. As people think that automatically means there aren't any boundaries to follow and can get away with emotionally using people for their own gain. If I do exactly what you said, then all I am doing is destroying all my efforts to not think like a hive-minded society and fend for myself for once.
"benefiting from a maliciously lucrative operation behind closed doors, that was funny"
did I say a joke here? Last time i checked, as of just now. No one in this thread is laughing with you or interpreting what I said as comedy. Clearly not. Keep in mind that sarcasm doesn't always mean that you should process it as a joke. You're clearly being condescending and want to be spitefully immature, not wanting to put on your grown-up adult pants.
"Did they break your heart or something? Why are you so obsessed with them?"
Ah yes, the old typical baiting tactic and trying to frame me as some crazy jealous ex?? You are pretty terrible at throwing a troll tactic. You are a very weird human being to be shipping two IRL humans together without their explicit consent. I mean, if you're upset because I'm not being a people-pleasing doormat and trying to help people avoid creators that are incapable of separating business and general relationships like an actual mature, healthy adult, I'm not sure how that is a bad thing—advocating for welfare and safety on the internet. Maybe we need to watch out for you because you don't want to be a decent human being.
Buddy.. You're coming at me irrationally, swinging an axe at my head like a serial killer, and it is not a good look on you. Please take better care of yourself and get plenty of sleep. There isn't any point for anyone here to have any discussions with you on any forum if this is what you think is 'debating' and casually having a discussion is. You do not have the necessary skills and knowledge to socialise.
I wish you good health and a lovely day. Regardless, if you're being rude and deliberately choosing to self-sabotage your life to avoid ramifications for your actions like a spoilt brat. Next time, instead of throwing shit like a troglodyte in a zoo enclosure, Please remember, people will only interact with you and bother to go out of their way to help you next time you demand for it if there is genuine mutual respect for being the bare minimum diplomatic.
Now Shoo! We have better things to do. Don't bother coming here if you're just going to be a cunt to everyone.

I am a bit confused why you only seem to appear out of the void whenever someone talks about their bad experience and is confused by using the gonso system based on your post history. Could be just imaging things??
Especially in regards to strawbunny so far and I’ve chatted more than a few about their experiences interacting with western creators in public lobbies. It’s pretty common knowledge already that some western vr creators have a bad habit of overstepping their boundaries while using the ‘I’m small indie a business’ like a jail out of free card as an excuse. Lf Sakura By Whituu@bananapie yup, it is best to make things flexible for consumers instead of forcing something you can't opt out of as an option. VR social platform is still somewhat on the smaller population or niche side, so we're not quite there yet. When creating something, you need to remember the hypothetical situation that VRChat and similar social VR platforms will not last forever to avoid putting your eggs in the one basket. Not all VR SDKs functions the same, so not everything is transferrable.
You need to think of a plan B so you and the end user can still enjoy it un future. It's like, say... making your model or asset cross compatible. That way, the end user feels like they're getting their money's worth, getting to see it in different games or software. Best part, distributing the public to as many people as possible is better without as many barriers to access the content. From MMD, to beat saber, and animation projects
Not sure if this is the best example, but I have seen some creators do this method.
Use a lemon uploader only = might save money but can't do as much as you since it's just an upload and can't interact with the files as effectively
or
Paying more for the unity package, FBX or anything else you'll need = you can go nuts with no weird stuff to cause inconsistencies and can fix things yourself if needed to without needing to rely on someone else. Just depends on how temperamental and complex how an asset functions.
Sometimes there can be like an extras tier add on if you want to port the model into a face tracking software to do virtual avatar streams, but I don't see that too often in kit bashed models, likely due to individual asset terms of services conflicting with each other. Virtual avatar streaming is a grey area only due to how exactly it is used.
There is less headache with a completed scratch model made by someone else with slightly less TOS conflicts, generally you might only have to list the avatar you switch through or just link the product in the shop. I don't think it'll work out well unless you made everything yourself, since everyone doesn't have a consistent TOS. The pitfall occurs if you want to be the only person using the model as your persona, want to make merch out of it, use event fundraisers and/or accept money.
I have sometimes seen a few pictures on Twitter, how people personalise their models to the extreme, which is cool. I love seeing people info dump me on their personal edits, that it helps people bring people together to try something themselves when they muster enough courage to try. It inspires others to become interested. Everyone starts somewhere, and innovation of new distinctly unique assets and models requires thinking of what would look cool that we haven't done yet.
Ages ago, there were a few debates on how to sell it. Do we go high to low in price like Quest > optimised for dancers > poorly rated for PC since at the time PC VR was the recommended choice since quest users at the time didn't have strong enough hardware to manage heavier loads. However, not everyone could afford a PC VR. Quest and optimised dancing would sometimes be priced cheaper since its more limited and makes sense to just bundle it together.
Today due, HTC Vive discontinuing their face tracker accessory and the quest pro having face tracking built into the headset. Some creators are swapping to the quest pro to be able to test face tracking without relying on a friend. Casual end users that have quest pros do find it useful being able to utilise expressions more accurately
Creative freedom to make your model unique is what most buyers enjoy doing and sometimes consider it as part of their virtual identity.
The shittiest way i could explain it to someone new is like the overused old analogy of the Mac VS Windows. Windows = more free-range to mess around with the code and alter how you want it to look or behave if you know how to. Mac = maybe you feel overwhelmed by too many choices and prefer a simplified way at the sacrifice of less end user control and not as many widely available applications

Need some help with the Gonso System@XIXTheSus Sorry for the incoming long post. From what's implied in some of the comment sections of gonso-effected models on the VR Models website, A small handful had suggested messing with the FX layer by just deleting it and rebuilding it from there. The script seems to interact with the FX layer, but that could be outdated news by now, if Gonsodanny has probably already patched it out.
Keep in mind that most creators that support Gonso are definitely not doing it out of purely innocent intentions as they claim to. They break their own terms of service by checking all file-sharing forums like a possessed angry goblin with rabies, who do actually have many secret accounts on all these sites. Just because they create their own inconsistent TOS across multiple places, they don't need to follow it.
For instance, I noticed Aurl might be using something that seems similar to Gonso based on install instructions for her newer models, as seen in Mileena since she is now using the protection system by naba. I'm not sure if that's old news, and I haven't found enough public feedback just yet to see if it's just like the equivalent of a broken Denuvo clone in the community.
I find it important that any reviews, especially negative experiences and constructive criticism, aren't easily deleted by the creator. Seeing as it has been a few months, more sites are allowing legally paying customers to add comments to their reviews. I just hope creators can't rig it in their favour, maliciously defeating the purpose of such a system.
I've seen Lord of the Flies, enough memes of the French Revolution, and Game of Thrones to know what happens when you blatantly don't follow the rules you force on anything that moves just because you're higher up on the hierarchy ladder as a 'leader'. Eventually, you will be metaphorically cannibalised by your own blindly loyal followers for baiting them, showing off a lavish lifestyle right in front of them, and treating them like they're too stupidly naive to know any better.
Without spoiling Game of Thrones too much to amuse the few people in this thread, this one lord that lives in his village with only his harem of forced daughter wives, like a gender-reversed all female smurf town, who got outsmarted by a group of freezing cold, injured, starving armed group of soldiers in one episode. After they got fed up with him tormenting them about how good his food is, claiming how much better he is compared to any man, and egotistically boasting that his daughter wives are only supposed to have eyes for him.
Speaking of hypocritical actions and unreasonable expectations, I am fully aware some creators pirate their assets or other people's avatars anyway; they don't bother verifying if an asset was ripped or carbon copied (
cough Daisy by LividLily cough) or intentionally put themselves into financial hardship, expecting people to fix their intentional incompetence despite clearly disclosing they are legally a fully grown adult. The fronta lobe is already fully developed... run away and don't return. The last time I saw a creator come into here with a clearly planned motive to abuse people was Moon Goldfish, telling the typical sob story about being a poor higher education student with an IRL job. Mind you, I witnessed her accidentally project and indirectly let it slip with the heavy implication that she was determined to be like the creators like the bright-eyed gal she is to girl-boss and gate-keep her way too close to the sun like the poetic fable of Icarus. I'd praise the enthusiasm initally to be polite but uhh... the 180 degree switch up gave me whiplash
Try to manipulate their user base into financially supporting their entire life, where they'd do this avatar creator full-time, expecting a successful six-figure income just like some of the toxic popular creators do assuming vrchat will last forever remaining popular. Too bad she won't owe up to her immature foul behaviour scared shitless her paying customers will find out eventually by mass editing/deleting her comments on this specific thread and has been spam nuking DMCA reports behind the scenes on file share links for the past few days like a coward. It's not that hard to genuinely apologise for being a biggus dickkus because we all have done an embarassing screw ups we regret.
I do feel bad having to resort to piracy when i was a little kid due to not being allowed to demo something or having to proritise keeping myself healthy because i was not born in a higher socio-economic family like most folks which isn't hard to relate to. Collecting low bitrate mp3s, low spec games that could hardly run on my family pc and avoiding asking for much to avoid being labelled a spoilt brat. However, as soon as i realized more than well over half the western vr creator community does not give a flying fuck how kind and supportive you are. Even if you wasted your life saving as a adult buying everything in their shops legally and following their rules without fail... guess what?? It will still never be good enough, will still shame you to stop being so poor by always asking for more and you're framed as no longer a good person not being able to support every single project. I have no clue how to keep up becuase i know i'm not a golden goose that lays golden eggs as much as i wish it so.... at the same time i know that's putting an unrealistic expecatation on myself FML
By default, I have to not give creators the benefit of the doubt because I have been tricked into supporting various people before and ended up regretting it, finding out too late their sweet words do not match their actions. Wanting to be well off enough to support yourself independently while enjoying the occasional spurge is a completely mature and normal goal anyone has. However, it is not mature doing malicious shit to potential customers.
My current theory at the moment is that I bet some of these gullible creators get this naive idea in their heads incidently after watching YouTube videos similar to The True Secret World of VRChat Avatar Creation by Derafog, hearing how financially successful the top western vtubers are. Lastly, being influenced by amateur SW who advertise spam their lewd shit on complete strangers' social media posts they never consented to, who intentionally lie about how safe and successful or sugar baby work is.
I apologise for the detour ramblings loosely related to this topic. I'm just passionate in regard to certain things and cannot fathom why the hell anyone could be bothered wasting their energy treating every single stranger on the internet calllously for no genuuinely valid reason
Not only that, but I am not sure if I am out of touch as an adult myself because I live like a cosy homebody, enjoying my peace. Honestly, what is the difference between genuinely disadvantaged customers that try to legally do the right thing but have to resort to other means because their favourite creator keeps inflating their prices more and more as time goes on. Being told rudely condescending to just deal with it or get the fuck out?? In contrast to the creator, where they seem to have this weirdly naive stubbornness wanting everything to be perfect for themselves and their nepotism clique, like they have horse blinders fused to their skull??
The depressing part is watching newbie creators go through an all-too-common character arc where they just end up losing their media literacy and emotional intelligence to empathise. Like all the problems of the world only strictly exist in their world (sometimes they white knight randomly to show off) and not ours, assuming we live perfect lives. For me, I haven't had much luck having more positive experiences than bad ones. All it's taught me is that creators expect me to be obscenely rich like Elon Musk, like a fountain of infinite resources. Just blindly accept their poor decisions and weird behaviour like a yes man. Don't think, just consume until they throw you away like an abused toy, then let the next person screw you over with no protests. Rinse and repeat.
Some of these western VR creators are more passionate about witch hunts and doing everything to handicap their audience, making them jump through unnecessarily hoops for their entertainment to see how far they can get away with it. Making them fight over a limited discount code, limited time models or assets, and hiding big sales, discounts, and giveaways in their gate kept private discord severs. Treating everything like the modern inspiration of Lord of the Flies just for engagement farming to boast about their server capacity. Rather than being a respectful, sane business and advertising it on social media and in their public shops like everyone else. They have no valid excuse to complain when they prosecute and isolate customers who try to support them in droves.
If their enthusiastic passion was genuinely invested in something more legitimately useful, like kicking out genuinely dangerous and unethically criminal behaviour. The vrchat dev team hierarchy wouldn't still be full of paedophiles, incompetent staff, and general predators who should be realistically locked away in a maximum security jail by now.
NAH, that's too hard and would rather waste their energy white knighting each other like the vrchat devs do, claiming along the lines of 'after our thorough investigations, we discovered there were no violations this person committed' Schick, and guilt trip the disadvantaged folks because it seems to come off almost like am unhealthy obsession or bizzare kink these essentric people have. You know what they say... birds of a feather flock together
By the way, maybe just in case. I'm happy to edit this thread to focus on counterproductive so-called anti-piracy scripts in general that do more harm than good to make it easier for the audience to find. Sort of like a master list? We have to be proactive in informing people about shady shit being hand-fisted into products that can't be opted out of, so toxic creators can't take advantage of people as easily. Seeing as suspicious, creators can't censor what people on a random forum say.
Worse case, I can create a separate thread to edit over time to help people bump into eventually to guide them which creators not to buy from. I too feel that empathetic sense of buyer's remorse angst seeing someone else get unfairly ripped off and then blacklisted just because they got delivered a faulty product, which goes against some online retail TOS if you do some digging around. You're actually not suppose to maliciously publish faulty items and avoid allowing refunds depending how its committed. I once had to refund a game that wasn't working properly on steam and ended up having to use the ubisoft's client. Big Oof

LF: This Cutiee Rosabelle by NoeliaJust posting this as like a roughly put together a long crappy PSA for those unaware merely just to be helpful. Always remember safety first when buying from strangers on the internet!
(TLDR: Do not bother using or purchasing this product. Badly coded script that is non-consensually enforced on end-users, which you cannot opt-out of, and breaks everything. Why?? Gonso Licenced: You only have to remember; it's like, metaphorically speaking, Denuvo had a brainless, estranged cousin that your family doesn't like talking about. Everyone hates Gonso, they are a drug-addicted sociopath who will rob you in broad daylight and destroy your stuff just for not giving them enough money constantly each time you fall for their crocodile tears. Please avoid Gonso as they have no genuine intentions of fixing themselves for the better)
I would rather people be well-informed than in the dark, because no one bothered to mention it to newbies. I'll just copy and paste this to a few posts that have this defunct feature. Awareness is important during this global recession, which is debatably worse than the great depression at the time of writing this. Buying models and assets from some creators isn't cheap and is somewhat debated to not be worth the asking price for a free social VR platform.
As a side note, if you're new to virtual social platforms and don't know which creators are trustworthy, From what I hear, there is consensus wise on separate forums. Don't bother buying from Strawbunny, Noelia, Whituu, Aurl, etc. and giving them your hard-earned money. Do not buy from anyone who is close to Gonsodanny who is the person responsible for making the gonso licensing script. Including anyone trying to force the Gonso Licence more than once onto customers. They are more than likely benefiting from a maliciously lucrative operation behind closed doors with each other. They're too incompetent to run a business correctly and take their audience for granted too much.
Just because a big business like Adobe scammed millions of clients with over expensive subscriptions, spyware and maliciously confusing terms of service. It does not mean that it's appropriate to overinflate prices, charging $45–60 USD for a faulty product they kit bashed using other people's assets but act as if they made it all from scratch themselves. Sorry for the bad news. There are plenty of other products that are worth your time and money. Please be very careful who and where you buy stuff from.
This model has a "Gonso licence" listed if you check the specifications and credits. This product will likely be broken no matter what you do, and it is badly coded. You'll manually have to redo the entire FX, menus, and expressions from the ground up since the Gonso script breaks everything. The model will not function as intended even if you follow the instructions provided, and you may have to re-upload multiple times just for it to work properly (e.g. gesture expressions will not activate regardless of input, menus not working or the product will load in the game as invisible).
It will break as it has no future proofing, so I wouldn't recommend buying any gonso-infected models and just consider it as intentionally laced malware to keep yourself safe. It's not worth the trouble, seeing as these creators will not care to fix the things they caused and will try to gaslight you into thinking it's your fault. They are intentionally selling a faulty product to you to mock your intelligence as the end-user. No different how Adobe and Ubisoft treats their customers. They are lying to you when they claim you can edit and update it, no problem
Some creators who attempted to use said system for their products regret using it. This script only made things worse for themselves and their customers. This is installed via a paid commission done by Gonsodanny, and it is obvious based on feedback that Gonsodanny does not provide any technical support or troubleshooting afterwards to creators/end users. If a person refuses to clarify what something does and punishes you for asking a well-mannered simple question and hides crucial information. They are not innocently protecting their business... they're intentionally trying to scam you and do not care whatever happens to what you legally paid for just for doing the right thing.
Which is why the system ends up being dropped by some avatar creator's next project because it causes products to essentially turn into lost media as it strongly implies Gonsodanny does not provide them even just a basic manual for the script they commissioned them for. The tacttics are prety similar to how Denuvo treats game devs via fearmongering they'll go into debt without their anti-piracy script. Gonsodanny only provides help to their friends they like (hint - not hard to guess based on full star reviews and lack of valid constructive feedback). More than just a few witnesses have already confirmed their social circle is full of nepotism, lack of emotional/mental maturity and will give you second hand embarrassment by cosplaying as the impoverished in the public eye of their misinformed viewers. Despite these gaggles of geese being caught red-handed bragging about how much big money they earn to anyone they perceive as a rival or enemy.
For example, Strawbunny and Whituu are best buddies with not just each other, so naturally, all their models will be updated or released with the gonso script. The reason you may or may not have heard about it is due to some of these gonso-supporting creators having inappropriate para-social relationships with their audience, telling how much they 'love everyone' and only trusting whatever they say. That anyone that mentions them outside their sterilised echo chambers are just jealous, nasty people and big bad criminals. They do not love you; they only care if you're an advantage strictly to them, and infinite money to burn. They do not want peasants and the disadvantaged souls in their community buying their stuff. It's pretty obvious once you've stuck around long enough how many people get punished for not magically having whatever they want on command, like miss Veruca Salt from 1971 Willy Wonka & the Chocolate factory.
In summary, you cannot make edits to the model, and the script hard-wires itself to a specific Unity version and/or other items, so it will brick itself when the SDK requirements for uploading models change in the future. If you do naively fall for it by accident. That is not your fault, you were taken advantage of for giving a complete stranger the benefit of the doubt. Instead of a metaphorical expensive paper weight IRL, you will instead have a redundant file you can never salvage hogging space on your storage.

Need some help with the Gonso Systembump
-
Need some help with the Gonso SystemHello! I've set up this post to enquire if anyone could provide a solution to specially remove the gonso system in a way to salvage the model to its original state before the system was implemented, as unfortunately the system keeps breaking everything. Rendering the gonso related models as faulty as end users cannot get it to work.
Refunds cannot be issued, so the only solution is to fix it ourselves. One solution that as been discussed previously is either deleting the folder or not importing it in unity. However, that doesn't seem to work universally for all gonso effected models. Many paying end users have been ripped off as they cannot use the model regardless if the instructions posted by these shops were followed exactly as advised and have the correct assets in the project. Some model creators have mentioned that it has caused more harm than good to their user base, and they cannot apply any fixes or updates.
Please note, saying you'll fix it is not the answer i'm searching for. I specially mean a way to do it ourselves. While it might sound easy on paper to simply hand over the files of gonso effected models, not everyone wants to do that. It's simply out of a safety & privacy concern.
I deeply apologise for any inconveniences caused and hope we could collaborate to fix the problem together. Therefore, anyone can find the link to this thread and find the information they need. I am very grateful for any input, even if it doesn't work. Helpful and positive discussion is much appreciated and valued. I rather enjoy learning something new and supporting good teamwork than unnecessary discourse in relation to the matter
I do not mind if we have to wait a while to figure out a verifiable method that works on all models, and I'm thankful for your patience. Thank you
-
LF: Mochi - by StrawbunnyI think the best solution to the problem is by working together as a community to collaborate to resolve the issue with all gonso related models. Even if it means reaching out to vrmodels or similar forums
It would be easier if there was a thorough guide on how to remove the system and fix the model. I do not mean by just simply not importing the system in unity or deleting it from the files, as for some models that does not work. Not only that, but I mean reverse engineer it to salvage it back to its original state before it was installed, so everything works correctly.
I think both some model creators and customers are tired of this badly coded system. The system is utterly broken anyway and does not work. Some have already had a bad experience with it. It's basically lost media if no one can fix it. In the end, any creator using this system has ironically wasted their money commissioning this dude and paying consumers got scammed not being able to use it since it's broken. The end user can't even get a refund, or they will be blacklisted even if hypothetically the consumer is legally in the right since the product does not function at all and is faulty
You can't customise the model (including the model creator's themselves) without it breaking everything, so it is definitely not flexible to changes. I don't think some people trust others to do it for them as there is always a risk you either get snitched on (e.g. model creators like to create throwaway accounts to pretend to be someone else to basically abuse and mass blacklist them) or it gets tampered with to ruin your pc
Like, there's always people in some of these gonzo related threads (including vrmodels) saying they'll fix it if someone posts it. However, they refuse to answer a simple question on how we can do it ourselves. I'm really sorry if I come off negative and tired, but there is no point saying you somehow know to get rid of it and not allow us to do it ourselves. It is normal to not feel comfortable on relying on someone else we do not know or if they can be trusted
If there is a script framework or software that can be made to remove it, people are willing to download coding software to get rid of it. I understand not everyone is a coding genius, so the script needs to be easy and straightforward for anyone to use
I'm going to set up a post in the help/troubleshooting section to see if anyone knows the answer. I'll edit this post later if it gets resolved. People can just go there instead of the solution being scattered inside posts from years ago. I've even checked vrmodels and there is still no clear answer on how to do it. It's kind of fair to say that it's a normal reaction to be even feel a little bit frustrated, as some people have been ripped off and cannot even use the model at all
