Also, quick tangent, I hate adobe, substance painter sucks ass, i try opening a project one version above it and it just completely refuses to open it. Fuck adobe, fuck their products, I will never pay them a dime.

It depends on what type of avatar you're trying to use (Self-made/FBX or prepackaged), however, I'd first check if the avatar descriptor is on the mesh instead of the entire model
I dug around a bit, however came around relatively empty-handed.
What I'd try is clearing the pipeline, as that does sometimes cause application errors.
This is where your Blueprint ID is stored, detaching might fix the problem.
