Ps; No disrespect but please don't jump in with something that you weren't involved in. You both seem to be friends and it's nice to see you sticking up for them and whatever but it's clearly just a misunderstanding that doesn't need to be escalated with assumptions.
Sadly the rindo version is broken as i've bought it myself, tried telling the creator about it, was told they fixed it, they fixed one issue then didn't fit the other issue and ignored all of my messages asking for them to fix the weight paint issue for the thing that i payed for. I'm not experienced enough to fix it myself. (Bump manuka)

Can't you just use the original fbx and edit that? I'm not much of an expert on this but i just take base models, remove stuff i don't want in blender, add stuff i do, fix it all in unity (because the prefab dies) and the boom.
