Does anyone know how to use the auto lock sps? Like the green ball that pops up

you just have to have an active sps object nearby then just hover the green orb over it and select the related sps item in tail menu.

anyone else having an issue where when you use the auto lock it becomes super jittery and doesnt fully touch the sps its locked onto?
