hey i need advice i got some avatars from here and want to know if i need to do anything to them before upload or just strait upload the avatars off rip?

Some you can, some you can't. If its a Unity file, then it should already have all the stuff on it for you.
If its an FBX or Blend, it will take some effort when putting it into Unity assuming the FBX already has everything and if the Blend has anything at all. -

@Shadowcat849 When uploading any avatar, you will have to use Unity.
