Found a new leaking website with trading and LF, looks promising.

@Daytona The drama was somewhere between late 2021 to early 2022, so almost 2 years. VRModels went offline for a while before going back online.

https://old.reddit.com/r/VRchatAvatars/comments/qlnhqm/pages_or_groups_similar_incognito_or_vrmodelsstore/I do remember seeing someone mention vrc gardens when it was still in development, but since other sites were being ran by akisoba members or otherwise malicious people at the time, it's not too far off to assume that the site was part of whatever plan they had in mind.
Still find it strange that you only choose to make an account now to talk about vrc gardens, whether it be in this thread or to advertise it in another.

@elinkabelzinka Its been a while since it happened, but I will try my best to recall the events. Get your snacks and blankets, because it's story time.
So around a year or 2-3 ago, there was an incident where it was discovered/announced that the people running the old vrmodels site were part of some group, akisoba llc, who claimed to be working with a number of creators from gumroad to "protect their work", as they like to call it.
Their idea to "protect the creators' work" was to embed the unity packages that were hosted on their server with malware like discord token loggers, key loggers and modified SDK scripts containing malicious code to overwrite existing scripts in a unity project.
Around the time that happened, the old vrmodels was becoming a dumpster fire that people were abandoning and some refugees were going over to the newly created sanctuary.moe website. As it turned out, the person(s) running the sanctuary.moe site was also a part of the akisoba group, or another malicious hacker acting on their own.
There was an uproar about that, and eventually sanctuary moe was shut down.
Someone created a unity plugin called Safe Import designed to check unitypackages for any akisoba, vrmodels and sanctuary-related malicious scripts during the import process. The github page for the plugin no longer seems to be available,(nevermind, I found it) but this one containing text files that were to be used with it still exists. https://github.com/Purple420/Hashes-of-Safe-Scripts/tree/main/Unsafe FilesSome of the refugees from sanctuary decided to create a private discord server to share and trade assets on, but eventually the person who ran the sanctuary site found out about the server and invaded, and during that time they displayed their ability to hack the discord accounts of several of the members in real time. The admin of that discord server decided to nuke it shortly after.
And I was there to see it all. That being said, I'd be wary of vrc garden. I wouldn't even trust the new management of the vrmodels site.
Also, advertisements on an asset leaking site? What dumbass is going to pay to have an ad placed on there?
It's been a long time since I read such nonsense.
I'll give you one piece of advice Dexizuki, don't make up stories or believe any invented rumors. ALWAYS HEAR the information on the direct and direct sources (the creators of RESOURCES), instead of making up fairy tales. Especially don't believe fairy tales that have been made up.Now listen carefully from 1 source. And not from some invented rumors.
VRModels is an independent project. About the change of management and other things - do not make up fairy tales. If you do not know the information - it is better to keep silent. And has never been a part of anything out there. And does not take part in your fairy tales that you all made up. And yes. Everybody's got a lot on their mind. Judging by your text. And all the fairy tales you've read somewhere. And now a little bit about the other projects. Specially for you Dexizuki!
VRModels - not related to Sanctuary and Akisoba, not related to vrc.garden.Sanctuary.moe - Euroll human project. Sanctuary.moe also spread viruses, loggers and other junk in models.
Akisoba.co - Euroll Man Project (Akisoba - Euroll project is covered. To quietly cover up the Sanctuary case, close Sanctuary and ride off into the sunset. And people bought it). Alas, everyone knows that Akisoba and Sanctuary are the same project of Euroll (but you probably don't know that).
vrc.garden - A very strange and controversial project in our opinion. I will tell you why I think so. A certain Civv manages everything there. Civv also has information from the Sanctuary website. Although Euroll stated that he sold the information to Civv (information in the form of email addresses), but we are very weak to believe it. Civv also turned on the Sanctuary site and uploaded all the models from there to their vrc.garden. We sat there and watched this picture. As Sanctuary turned on and by some miracle all the models were transferred to vrc.garden, after Sanctuary turned off again. Also, Civv writes everything in React, which is what Euroll did before. Also Civv copies Euroll's behavior and does a lot of the same things. Including his actions in their discord. We don't believe in coincidences. And we see some connection. But maybe we imagined it, so we will not say for sure. But that all models from Sanctuary were transferred to vrc.garden is a fact, alas. Whoever doubts that - go and look at their models. There are a lot of models with loggers there. Also, new models from users with different loggers are uploaded there. As an example: https://vrc.garden/post/2345 we have many other examples from their site with loggers and other stuff.
I just want to say for myself, we will not say anything bad about vrc.garden, but only say - do not download models with viruses and loggers. There are a lot of them there. You can download the example above and see for yourself. If this example is not enough for you, download their other models from the site and see for yourself. In conclusion of all this:
Decide for yourself which projects you want to use. After all, you can download models from any project. Some projects have protection against viruses, some do not. (But it has always been solved by a matter of time and other things).
And most importantly - do not make up stories. -
@VRModels OH HEY! were were just talking about you. So nice of you to show your face on a platform that you cannot delete comments on
-
Looks like someone got upset that I brought up a forgotten event. Unfortunately for you, person from VRModels who made the account to respond to me, you can't silence me here.

@VRModels
the fact you sat there writing an entire essay says enough. the proof is in the pudding. tbh i'm happy it's getting put to light, bc you're insufferable and people deserve to know the past of vrmodels; especially if it has to do w/ safety. i can't help but giggle every time i see you delete a comment and shove your "morals" down other peoples throats. your whole platform relies on other people, while you also choose to paywall and profit off of it. gross.
reality check: no one cares what you think and what you say holds zero value to everyone.

Glad this story popped up. But now it makes me wonder what is the best way of checking assets for malicious stuff. Just virus total?
