It seems like you can get something that will work in Blender out of a Unitypackage but I'm a newbie so don't quote me on that.There'll be a .fbx file somewhere in the assets after you open the unitypackage. You can import that into blender, but all I had time to do was go "yup, it opened, that looks like the model," so I don't know how useful that is.'preciate upvotes, but if I'm just pointing at somebody else's post, go give them an upvote, too :)

Sorry, none of those are my uploads, just stuff I found already uploaded (and there's a lot else still floating around). There's about six other threads where somebody was looking for Ashley's blender files, so it'll turn up eventually.
I say this as a total newbie: I know that once you load up a unitypackage, there will be a .fbx file somewhere in the assets. Right click it and Unity will show where it is in the project's files. You can import that into blender. I don't know how it's different from a full .blend file, but maybe enough for what you're trying to do?
