This is purely gold when it comes to importing exported FBX from Unity.

So what's different with this tool compared to just dragging an fbx back into the unity folder and replacing it after editing in Blender?

I'm not sure if it's still relevant today, but i was using this to convert prefabs to an FBX, you cannot import that FBX into Blender without using this tool here.
