Vrmodels is straight up garbage. The site barely even loads half the time, and their lame-ass TOS is a joke. I’ve been on RipperStore for a bit now and honestly? Way better. The mods are actually poggers and keep things running smooth.
Vrmodels, on the other hand, acts like crybabies whenever someone posts something they don’t like. Then they start handing out “special badges” like that means anything. No clue what that’s supposed to do. Anyway, just wanted to say RipperStore’s been the best out there.
I know this will prob get deleted but I just wanna say good job mods for keeping this site clean.

VRModels is filled with contradicting TOS as well. You aren't allowed to upload ripped models but many avatars on there are ripped packages. I've seen vtuber models get removed for being ripped but many things fly under their radar. They never enforce their policies equally and the site is run by incompetent morons

Also, the vast majority of their recent uploads are from generous people on this forum, not the VRModels community or staff. They rarely have any items that this forum doesn't already have on top of their terrible site management. They are biased against furries to a laughable extent and will ban anyone they disagree with. If you ask any question, even a reasonable one, they will ban you or label you as a retard since they know a lot about retardation

I made an avatar for the site, and i regret it because i cant get it taken down and i actually was really proud of it but its kinda a target that says "I leak avatars!" cause the model had like 40k views on their site.
They accused me of claiming someone else's work trying to gaslight me after and say "we arent interested in your stories." and "did we ask for that?" Like, the fuck? How dare i contribute to the site and how dare i make something to share with others!They also asked me to host their discord. Their mods joined and started shitting on people, and instead of contacting me about their issues, they stated i was removing people for no reason (which i only removed actual content creators trying to ban disc users, and people who were breaking the servers tos by being a shitty person and starting shit) and that my moderator was a pos (they got bad blood but NEVER BANNED THE PERSON). They didnt even bother to reach out to say they didnt want the server. They just stopped linking it on the front page. Their mods are absolute cowards that run to the 'Bot' thats not actually a bot. Im certain their brains have rotted because they try to spin things that they clearly scuffed. (i had proof of these at some point)
Their mods hate pushback which is hilarious because they think they can dish it themselves, but cant take it. Dont even bother with bugs, theyll say youre the dumb one. Theyre condescending and just genuinely stupid. Half the time they dont understand the conversation theyre butting into or theyre trolling because theyre immature.
They do allow viruses (or did idk havent been on in a year or so) and They dont mention if an avatar has gonzo. They allow Gonzo avatars; the posts that say "no virus found" is a snarky label they add to uploaders who had concerns of viruses. (they even said that themselves.) If you ask for No-Gonzo versions theyll basically laugh at you and tell you to "figure it out yourself" and shit on you if you cant. They also dont like when you out pedophiles and will revoke your commenting privileges or straight out ban YOU for being "antagonistic"
Ugh i could go on for days thats how much beef i have w them. I switched to this site because theyre so much better.Id Steer clear of VRModels altogether. Theyre just not worth the risk.

I agree, vrmodels is a terrible website, plus the host server is from Russia. I have no hate on russians but the immature children hosting that site can fuck off. Their "Trusted" users are always starting shit like they're the "popular kid" in school but in reality they're just annoying cunts.

For real, I just got banned for reporting a mod for being rude an unhelpful. They were calling another user an idiot and a liar for claiming not to see a project file in a download. Turns out it just doesn't show up if you use the default Windows archive tool, you've gotta use 7zip.
I pointed out they were unfairly calling someone a liar, and now I'm IP banned and can't access the site.

I told staff that a link didn't work for a model on their site and to let the creator know (as others were also complaining about in the comments) and they gave me one of their stupid little badges. honestly, deleted my account after that, not that serious gang...their submit button wouldn't work because their website is so slow on returning request, that the request that wait in queue build up and then all get sent at once, which makes the site EVEN SLOWER. Its honestly astounding they run a "site" at all; they are so braindead they make up their own DDos attack on the daily.
