Honestly dude I wouldn't think too much into it. We just take the path of least resistance here and learning extra stuff to turn an FBX into a fully fledged VR Chat avatar are extra steps we really don't want to be bothered with.
It's nothing personal to you, and you've come here with a pretty refreshing attitude, which is more than most other creators but really? We're just lazy, broke or don't have the time to learn this stuff. Sometimes all three. The vast majority of us who upload ripped assets have them as private uploads anyways.

Perhaps people don't have the knowledge, time or skills to get heavily invested in often complex, intricate and confusing usage of Blender?
Just a thought.

@pepep It's an FBX, you could skip Blender entirely at that point and import it into Unity. If it needed a blender setup, I could understand your point.
